Default Rattle when accelerating

I am having a rattle "issue" with my Tahoe. When I step on the gas after stopping or just driving slow, it makes a loud vibrating sound. Of course when I take it to get looked at, it doesn't make the sound. I had a neighbor look at it and listen to the sound. He said it was the (clutch) for the compressor engaging and dis-engaging....anyone had this issue? If so what did you do?

Doubt the A/C compressor clutch is doing it unless there's a problem w/ it. Might check the mounting bolts to make sure that they are all tite.

bought 2005 tahoe with 4.8 just turned 200,000 miles. drives like it is new, has not let me down on road yet, but theres always a chance. I changed plugs, wires, waterpump at 100,000 just for fun of it . antifreeze and hoses along with belts , pullys, and tensioners changed at 150,000. Changed transmission fluid and filter every 60,000. I am going to change fuel pump in a few days , i feel my days are numbered. Shocks were replaced at 150,000. The things that were changed out of necessity other than shocks, brake booster started leaking fluid, since it is powersteering fluid driven. Aircondioner blower relay had to be changed twice and wiring harness to it once, there is a controller that allows driver and passenger to both feel cold air at same time went bad. The speedometer went bad and would show i was travelling at 120 mph when only moving 50mph. was out of warrant because of mileage, missed recall but found a site that rebuilt it for 120 dollars and installed it my self in 10 minutes. one front bearing and hub assembly went out. please only replace it with premium parts that carry a 3 year or more warranty or you will be doing it every 60,000miles or less. I change oil with regular shell 10w30 every 3,000 miles. We have been very satisfied with this tahoe, it is paid for and because i have replaced any parts i suspect may die, it is tight. oh forgot steering wheel shaft that had a slight rattle, as did all chevy trucks and tahoes of that era was replaced, and oh yea general motors they dont stay in alignment like my old 82 and 93 1500 pickups. who ever came up with the idea of the wheel studs that are shaped like a bullet should be moved to head of engineering, i run a tire shop, never have i seen a stripped thread and thats saying something! chvy has done a good job by me so far, the little stuff having to be changed is routine maintainence. would highly recommend this vehicle, i have seen many come through my tire shop with 200,000 miles or more, still main family vehicle. and yes you can get 21 miles per gallon like sticker says, actually got 22 or 23 driving 60 on interstate once.
