Default 2008 Tahoe LT Cargo area concern?

I love pretty much everything about this rig--I have had 4 other Tahoes-except the way the cargo area is designed.

I could not find a Tahoe, in my area, that did not have the third row of seats. I do not need them so I removed them and have them in the shed. To my dissatisfaction, the floor of the cargo area is not flat and makes packing and hauling a little bit unhandy. I wish the floor was flat like in my previous models?? Has anyone figured out anything to do to make the area flat? Can I take-up the plastic track used to guide the install of the third row of seats? Is there a cargo mat of some type that would fit over the mounts and make it flatter??

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I appreciate the help.

I had the same issues.... so I went with the below liner incase I needed to throw thr 3rd row back in. Plus, weathertech is byfar the best in my opinion.

I ordered my '08 without the 3rd row seat and my cargo area is flat and I do not have those obnoxious tracks. I know this is a moot point for you, but it may help others who do not need the 3rd row to order what they wantas opposed to what is on the lot.

I bought the OEM cargo liner and it absolutely drives me crazy. I am going to buy another one, this time weathertech.

I have the 3rd row seats and have used them but also take them out when not needed. I have not looked but I suspect the tracks could be easily removed and a full liner could be isntalled.
I suspect the 3rd row is a bonus to have come resale time
