Default 2010 Suburban Liftgate applique problem

The plastic part of the lift gate that holds the back up camera and the lift gate window release button got knocked off the truck. I'm left with two plastic clips and four oval metal posts on the lift gate that all fit into the plastic molding thing (applique). No idea how to get these all engaged. seems like the posts would have to come off the liftgate and be inserted in the molding but can't figure any way to get them off. Anyone done this before?

thanks

Tony

Welcome to the forum.

I suspect that you'll have to remove the inner panel to gain access to the backside of the mounting posts.
