2011 Suburban LTZ with 225K miles - PLEASE CHIME IN
So, would love some input here. I have a 2011 Suburban LTZ with 225,000 miles. The engine was replaced at 160,000. Was planning on getting rid of it, but have since changed my mind. Going to keep it for a road trip car. Its cheep to insure and get the tags for. It has some rust (which I will be taking care of) and I'm in the process of doing some cosmetic upgrades. I have blacked out the chrome, new headlights, carbon fiber over the wood, getting new seat covers, debadged the chrome lettering and some other things. I want to also make sure it is mechanically good. Actually, I want to make sure it is mechanically great.
I recently had the transmission checked and its solid. Just replaced all the plugs and wires, the rack and pinion, the motor mounts, air filter, shocks are good. Did front and rear differentail, replaced serpentine belt. Was thinking about doing the following for preventative. Please give me your thoughts if it is necessary.
Things I'm thinking:
- Fuel Filter
- Replace oxygen sensors
- Replace Fuel Injectors
- Replace MAF Sensor
Any other tips would be great! Want to get this thing into top shape!
Thank you!
