I think your first but don't know about the rule part.

Looks like if you get a 1LS, you will truly get a stripped down model.

Is the 1LZ the same as the LTZ?

Will be in the 70s in KC today.

Default Yes

yea, they are pushing you towards the LT for most options.

1LZ is/was always the LTZ. it's just the GM code for it.

I imagine you found that information here. http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/dom...&page=&butID=1#

I found that site VERY useful when ordering my 2011 Tahoe LTZ. It was where I found that the factory chrome wheel option (RCZ) for 2011 was the same as the LTZ standard wheels but chromed instead of polished aluminum. I like them better then the 2010 chrome wheel which was a different style wheel. The chrome wheels match the chrome door handles and trim better then the polished aluminium in my opinion. I didn't want to pay the big bucks for the accessory chrome wheels GM offers. When I ordered my Tahoe in early June the dealers knew nothing about the 2011 models and didn't care enough to find out.

Do you know how much the RCZ wheel option costs?

The RCZ wheels are $700. The chrome wheel option in 2010 which was different wheels was $500.

BTW if anyone with the stock LTZ wheels likes the chrome look there are a number of wheel exchange companys on the net that will ship you the same wheels in chrome and you send your old wheels back for a "core" refund. It ends up costing just a little more then the factory option. Here is one example. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-OEM...TruckQ5fWheels

Default Nice

I like the 'chromed LTZ' ones a lot. the GM 'chrome' ones on the late 09s and 10s was just a stupid plastic cover looking thing.

HEY; GM... 'CHROME' is not PLASTIC...
