I almost got stuck w/ those "chrome" plastic covers that were permanently glued on. If you curbed them, no way to fix.

The real chrome ones in 2010 were just $800 more that the plastic ones. Glad I got those.

BTW even tho the substrate is plastic, the shiny stuff is still chrome. Just deposited in a vacuum rather than electroplated.

I just got my 2011 Suburban LTZ delivered, they did not include the Rain Sense wipers, didn't include a cargo area cover , wasn't able to order the 2 way alarm remote , was told they had too many problems and did away with them

2010s didn't have the RainSense wipers either.

Tahoes w/ third row seats never had cargo covers. Just Burbs do. Granted the mounting points are molded in, I think as haven't checked mine.

I got my 2-way remote thru parts and then had service install it. Never had any problems w/ either of them except the "up to 1,000 ft range" is a joke. Kind of like the truck runs in the V4 mode at hiway speeds on level ground. That's an even bigger joke.

Why discontinue the indigo or dark blue, it was one of the most popular colors?

that's interesting...

It's called decontenting and it starts happening after a couple of years for a redesign. Like they deleted the console mounted 2nd row seat fold switches which I found useful. Also the deletion of the heated washer which was partly due to GM destroying the company that supplied them.

That's fine if you didn't care for what they deleted. And they still raise the price for less truck.
