2022 Suburban Over the air software update
I'm very disappointed with an "Over-the-air Software Update" that was prompted for me to begin on the display screen of my new Suburban last night. After beginning the update and following instructions to shut off the engine, I left it for the night, assuming it would be good to go in the morning. Next day I go to start it and the battery has been drained so low the engine wouldn't start, and I ended up missing a very important engagement. I charged the battery for a couple hours and luckily got it started, and everything seems okay for the time being. Hopefully it will continue to hold a charge. My local Chevy dealer service department was oblivious of the issue, despite it being a known problem as I later learned, with a GM Service Update number 22371310, and basically just said to make an appointment if the battery doesn't stay charged. I also contacted the Chevrolet Customer Service line, but they were no help what so ever. I'm curious if other people have had similar issues with these remote software updates, and are there any recommendations for the next time an update is available.

I've had no problems with over the air updates in my '20 Traverse High Country. Since the last update its stopped asking for sign in password all the time.
Make sure its close enough to your home wifi for a good signal.
