Default 4WD wiring harness from Encoder Motor

2003 Tahoe 5.3L :
Lost 4WD switch lighting and functionality.
Discovered that the wiring harness that comes from the Encoder Motor had dropped down to the rotating shaft beneath it.
The rubbing friction action caused the wires to break very close to the wiring harness connector .

The connector is an 8 slot connector of which 7 are used.
Is this connector half from the encoder motor available?

Anyone junking a bad encoder motor but is willing to part with the harness?

Photos attached.

Frayed wires at the connector

I need this connector with some wiring attached to splice

Connectors plugged into each other.

ACDelco : PT1486 ; $54.78
8 way / pins
Male
Caution: I do not know if it comes with several inches of wiring already attached to the connector.
The photo of the connector on Amazon did not provide that detail.

After watching YouTubes regarding R/R of the Transfer Case Encoder Motor, I believe that I was incorrect in believing that the wiring harness that was sliced by my spinning drive axle was hard wired to the Encoder Motor.
The videos that I watched seem to have only two or three or four wires coming from the Encoder Motor.
Additionally, in one video, the mechanic unclipped two sets of wiring harnesses in the area of the Encoder Motor.

My issue is with the wiring harness containing 7 wires .
Question: where does that 7-wiring harness originate?
Question: Is it available to buy as a stand alone piece?
