DIC = Driver Information Center (buttons)

To hand calculate its miles driven since last fill up i.e. 350 miles divided by the number of gallons put in at fill up i.e. 20 gallons
350miles ÷ 20gallons = 17.5 mpg

I don't have an 07 'hoe, but a 97. I hand calculate every fill up. My best so far is 15.8. My worst 13.6. I ran the AC on the worst. Re-set the trip odometer at your next fill up. Then, on your second fill, do some basic division and that will give you an accurate picture of your mpg. Also, fill up in the mornings and at a slow fill speed. If you have the factory wheels and tires, this procedure will give you an accurate mpg reading. Good luck.

do you not know how to manually calculate the MPG??? also the manual has a lot of useful information...
fill your truck up now, go to the trip meter and clear it to 0 (press the check button to the right on the steering wheel). Then drive for a while - at least 1/2 a tank then fill it up again. <O></O>
check the trip meter and divide the miles you have driven by how many gallons it took to fill up = actual MPG.<O></O>

The size of the tank does not enter in to the equation. Write down your odometer reading at fillup. Write down your odometer and gallons put in at the next fillup. Subtract the smaller odometer reading from the larger odometer reading. Divide this number by the number of gallons you just put in. That will yield your miles/gallon for that fillup. The more miles you travel before filling will yield a more accurate figure.
