Default 95 Burb just plain dies

Hello! hoping someone has found the answer to this problem:

My 1995 5.7 4X4 will run like a champ, then just plain quit. No warning, nothing. After a few minutes (or hours, or even a day or two), all power will just come back on again and it'll run fine until the next time. When it dies, ALL power is gone. Engine quits, radio, dash gauges, even the clock. When power comes back on, clock is back to 12AM and needs to be re-set, like I've remove the battery or something. I've checked all of the connections I can think of (battery, starter, under-dash fuse box, engine compartment fuse box, ignition) to no avail. Could it be a computer problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Put ignition on,and try to wiggle the wiring harness and watch the light on cluster.it seems like there is loose connection somewhere
or bad ground/ moisture or loose connection in ecm connector be sure battery terminals are not loose.

ORIGINAL: byronrk

clock is back to 12AM
This should indicate a complete power loss. Not an ECM failure or ignition switch problem.

Check for loose/corroded ground/power.

If you have an anti-theft device (i.e. Pro-Lock, etc.), a malfunction will cause this problem. I had the same thing happen on my 93 Suburban, and a friend of mine had the same experience on his 94 Suburban. Removing the Pro-Lock fixed the problem.
