Default 95 Tahoe transmission won't shift gears

I put new solenoids in, but same problem is still occurring won't shift out of first, and park, reverse, neutral it shifts in just fine. Anyone have an idea what's up?

21 years of age? I think the bands could be worn out, as well as other parts. Probably time for a rebuild. I had it done on my '94 last year, for the second time after 10 years.

Depending on where you live, it could be as low as $600 up to $2000. You could save some money if you removed the transmission yourself and took it to them, then put it back in.
