Need help.
My 96 suburban shakes when I’m doing 45 or more and start braking. my long time mechanic says it’s in the back but the shoes and drums were replaced a month and a half ago. Done at another shop but mechanic doesn’t think they screwed anything up. I was thinking ball joints but he says the front looks fine to him. Most of the front was redone too. He’s going to try grinding the rotors but beyond that we’re all stumped. I’m thinking some of you fellow Suburban owners might have experienced something like this too. Or maybe you have some ideas. Need help.

No, neither of those. Long time mechanic swears it’s coming from the back . Hoping that grinding the rotors will do it. Burb runs fine otherwise. Acceleration fine, trans shifting fine. Steering fine. Mechanic says he’s sure it’s from the back. Second mechanic agrees.
