97 Suburban ABS issue

97 Suburban ABS issue
Hi Guys
My 97 Burb has an ABS issue that happens about one in every 4 times I touch the brakes.
As I am breaking normally (not an emergency stop or on slippery ground) just before the car comes to a stop the ABS kicks in for the last few seconds.
Are they well known for this, is it an easy fix.
