97 Tahoe tail light replacement.
Hi.
I have a European version of a Tahoe and it comes with different tail lights (very ugly). I brought a new couple of US tail lights and installed them, but I had to cut the wires and connect to other US sockets from a US Tahoe since the EU ones did not fit to the US lights.
It was five different cables in the harness to cut and connect, but I only connected four of them since the socket only had four cables in its harness.
There is a white cable left which I did not connect. I wonder what its for and how to connect it? It was connected to my old EU lights so I figured it has a function. Is it the break light cable? Because I didn't get the break lights to work. If it is, should I just connect it to the rear head light cable?
Does any one have a wiring diagram for the tail lights?
Thanks for your help!

It does not matter from Sweden where I live. I checked with our local postal office and the shipping cost ~$37 outside EU up to 1 kg.

I don't really know what that is. Why wouldn't US money be worth anything?
I can't sell you my old EU lights because I sold the car and the new owner got the old lights with the car. But there are some places you can brows for used parts: (Bildelsbasen.se - Sveriges strsta utbud av bildelar). I think most companys can ship to the US. But from what I see the EU lights are not quite common as US ones, even in Sweden.
Some more companys that might have used EU lights: http://www.nakab.se/ and http://www.v8import.com/SWE/?group=5
