ABS help
2003 Chevy Tahoe LT
Just purchased used and I have a few questions pertaining to brakes. I bought it knowing the ABS pump needed to be replaced.
1. How do I know if I have traction control? I don't see a button anywhere so I don't think it's an option.
2. What is active brake control and how do I know if I have it?
3. I have code c0265. It seems to be a common code. I have already checked the grounds and they are good. If I understand this code correctly, it's saying the ABS pump is stuck on. Looking around ebay, it seems like several people are doing this repair them selves. Anyone happen to know what is done in this repair?

I have had dealer replace pump on my '01 Sub twice (at 30k and 59k) both under warranty, first for $900 and the last covered for $1300. Now it is out again at 110k. I'm sure that is over $1500 now and no way I am paying that. I found some help at absfixer.com They might have a solution for you as well.

Both of you, welcome to the forum...
you might check your RPO's codes in the glove box for option
"JL4" which is for StabiliTrak, stability control system
