Adding Aftermarket Subwoofer
Anyone added subwoofer or any additional speakers to there 07 Tahoe with factory bose?. I hear you might be able to do it because system sends volume up or down digitally. Anyone know of this?

I haven't done this yet, but I am looking into doing it. From what I've heard there are ways to do this, you just might need to buy some extra interface pieces to keep all the functions and chimes working correctly. Another thing that I was told was that the wiring to the speakers would have to be re-run from the amp as opposed to using the current wiring and having the amp wiring go to the head unit.

if you are adding only a sub, all you need is a hi to low converter conected to the factory sub connections. and since the factory sub is a dual voice coil it makes it alot more simpler.the connections are under yore cneter console.under the cup holders.tha connections are to the righttha top part just pops of.very easy installation if you have ever messed with car stereos.
