Advice needed on used Tahoe
Have an 03 Yukon. Have 160k miles on it. No major repairs to date. Know the engine will go a long time, but think the tranny is probably nearing the end. A/C too.
Have a buddy at a dealership that took in an 08 Tahoe LTZ on trade. Loaded. Everything but 4x4, which is fine with me. Has 75k miles on it, but VERY clean. Can let me have it for $28,500.
Thoughts on pricing and miles on it? Is it a GREAT deal, or just a good buy? Or even that?

best thing is to check your area to see what the average price is for the same rig. values vary from one place to another. kelly blue book and nada will give you a rough idea. shop around a bit. find out what others are paying.
Personally I would check with the Kelly Blue Book, and also call your bank to get a loan value.
What they would loan you to buy the Tahoe.
It does sound on the high side buy quite a bit.
Warranty would also be an issue.
Is it even renewable?
And expect to pay a high price if it is.
