Default Amp and Subs on factory stereo

I have a 2007 Chevy Suburban LTZ with Navi, XM and the Bose sound system. I want to add an aftermarket amp with two MTX 10' subwoofers. Any idea on how to go about that? I took the factory stereo out but can't figure out what to tap into for remote, Rca cables, etc. Thanks!

I'm not sure you can tap into the stock stereo. You'll prolly need a new deck.

the factory head unit does have the regular out puts, but the easiest way to tap into factory system is sound processor with ALL the speaker out puts from the bose amp. then run the outputs from sound processor into your aftermarket amps...

i want to do this so badly to my burb but dont have the time. the "bose premium" crap is a joke. my friends f-150 with audiophile package beats the **** out my burb with out even trying...

If I recall you want to get your amp inputs at the amp/sub for the Bose system located under the center console.... if you do some forum searching there are some pictures of what wires to tap....

You have to buy the sound processor and hook it up to all the out puts from the Bose amp.

to answer your question you need an interface. Its basically a wire harness with rca jacks

You can always "tap" into any stereo. It may require a output converter which is easily bought online, google it!
