auto window (07-08 tahoe's)
I think chevy cut the corner by not having auto window roll up come on honda's have it what do some of you guy's think? Also no hid's is a joke for the price of the tahoe's.

You know somthing that's funny, my camry has the auto up/down and I hate it because every time you want the window to go up or down just an inch or two it rolls all the way down or up.
My suburban only has the auto down and I kind of miss the auto up.

I agree that they should have put it in. I have it in my other car and it works on all windows, not just drivers. I heard that it comes in the Escalade.
As far as safety, it will stop with any obstruction.

WE are getting lazy and lazier.... I bet in next 5 years from now, Voice talking to tell window go down or up. We are dealing with weight already.............

It's not about being lazy it's about a high prized truck that should come with options that a mid-$20,000 CAR COMES WITH.well this time your wife is right zx1101f1.

I have driven cars with the Auto-up window feature and I am not a fan of it.
The Auto-up feature costs a fairly sizable chunk of change to implement due to the fact that you also must incorporate an Auto-reversing mechanism for safety incase an object obstructs the window during closing, there is a liability issue if the Auto-reversing mechanism were to fail and cause injury or death.
For this reason most manufacturers choose to spend developmental budgets on features that are more desirable to consumers.
You'll notice that the Tahoe has numerous features and options available that Honda does not offer, and I'm not talking about cheesy little items like Auto-up
