Default autoride height sensors

hi I picked up a 2005 suburban LT about 6 months ago and the autoride hasn't worked since I got it. and I saw a kit online that can get up to a 3inch lift with shock extenders, spring spacers and torsion keys. that I thought about getting. the seller said it would work with autoride just have to make bracket for height sensor was just wondering if since my auto ride already doesn't work if I even have to do that or could I just leave the sensors alone
