Default Battery voltage help

My husband just changed the alternator and battery on our 2004 Chevy suburban. The day he changed the battery, the truck started making 5 high pitch tones upon starting and turning off the truck. Today, i noticed the beeps are longer and my battery gauge is reading at 19. I was going to take it to the store, but i got worried so i came back home. Any clue what is going on? When i turn the key off, and the lights are still in, radio still plays, etc, the gauge is at 14.

post a video of the tones and any related warning lights and cluster voltmeter gauge.
describe the symptom that was present to warrant battery and alternator replacement.

the description as written is hard to sort out. the voltmeter gauge on the truck should read between 13 and 15 volts with the engine running. If its not check, at the battery terminals with a voltmeter. If its at 19 volts at the battery, the system is overcharging. address this promptly.
