Default Battery voltage sensor

Do a 2004 Chevy Tahoe 5.3l Z71 flex fuel have a battery voltage sensor? If so, where is it located at? I'm getn a P0C8B code for high voltage and pcm can't tell when battery needs to stop charging and I just bought a brand new AMG or AGM battery

You can't put AGM batteries in your Hoe. Well you can but it's not going to last very long and you'll get codes like you're having

No idea why you're getting P0C8B though. It's not in the FSM. Seems to be a hybrid battery code.

So the AGM battery is considered a hybrid battery? See cuz I have a sound system in my truck and that's why i got a AGM BATTERY but i was getn the code before i bought the AGM battery. And I have the BLUEDRIVER scan thingy in my truck thats giving me these codes. Plus my knock sensors i done changed 5 times plus harness, all GM product, my number 1 knock sensors code keeps popping up. I kno these trucks have alot of ground issues and cud that keep giving low current for knock sensors 1 ? And it makes my truck eat up gas ⛽️. About ready to get rid of this truck. Getn tired of the headache

AGM batteries charge and operate with different voltages. I think the Bluedriver is giving bad codes. Try a different scanner.

If you're constantly charging up batteries to run a sound system, then that will burn more fuel.

Oh no, I'm not charging up batteries to run a sound system. I just thought AGM battery was better for my system. Now that you're telling me this I see that it's not better. And my knock sensor is the reason I'm eatn up gas cuz for some reason the #1 knock sensor Kross throwing a code. But I'ma change my battery now and sale that AGM battery. What about those Optima batteries? Are those ok?
