I've heard and seen that we can use sprays to clean out the vents, specifically sprayed from the outside vent into the cabin. Once sprayed, blast the fan on HIGH to clean out.

Is this the best method?

Any suggestions on products?

 

I've seen some products advertised. If you have a bad smell, make sure the evaporator drain is clear. Lysol helps.

 

It's just a lingering cigarette smell that was in the Burb and I want to flush out all I can. The professional detail sure helped a lot though.

 

There are places that specialize in smoke damage in homes. Maybe they could offer some ideas.

 

i ran accross this in a look a beleve you put some of this in the truck with the a/c and vent's blowing and closed up with the vent.s running .

Yes, I see lots of ads for many types of these cans. But many seem to leave another smell in the vents.

A buddy (detailer by trade) just mentioned that the ozone blaster machine is extremely effective.
