Default bigger wheels and tires for 2500 suburban

I'm thinking of aftermarket wheels and tires for my 2005 suburban 2500. any advice on how big to go? I'm thinking of 285/60 X 18s on 18 X 9 wheels. How does that sound?

Default RE: bigger wheels and tires for 2500 suburban

If your gonna go with that big of a tire I weould recommend an 18x10 wheel.... otherwise everything should be fine. If you bought your 3/4 ton suburban for hauling likeI did, make sure you buy at least an 8 ply tire to keep the towing capacity, make sure you buy a tire that fits the towing capacity of your rig...
