Blown DDM?

Blown DDM?
Vehicle: 2005 Suburban base model (no options)
Without going into the story of the stupidity that caused me to do it...
I just took the Driver Door Module out of the vehicle. In doing this, I cut the tape and took the DDM partially apart.
Now none of the DDM functions work. The key fob will unlock all other doors. All other window switches work. The lock/unlock button on the passenger door works for all doors but the driver's door.
I had OnStar run the codes, and the system says that it cannot communicate with the DDM.
Have I blown up my DDM, or do I just need a reprogram?
Thanks.

Problem (hopefully) solved
I took the door skin off again, pulled the DDM and plugged it in. Everything worked. Something apparently was not tight...but everything clicked when I plugged it before. The DDM even has one of those positive cam-locked connectors.
Frustrating.
But it's working for now.

Thanks for follow up on your post, that is what makes forums work!
when working on any parts of the vehicle be sure to always have the key out of the ignition and in many cases disconnect the battery as the RAP or retained accessory power could keep enough power present to cause issues with unplugging and plugging in electronics with power applied.
