Default Bought a used 07 Tahoe LT

Just purchased a used '07 Tahoe LT with 49k miles. I inspected the underbody and found some surface rust on the frame. I feel that this is something expected of a 3 year old vehicle that came from a snow state.

What can I do about the rust? Would the "Ziebart" underbody coating be of any help to prevent further rusting?

Also, I paid $27k for the vehicle - good buy? or too expensive?

Price sounds about right. Frames rust. Wouldn't worry too much about it unless I was going to keep it for 30 years and lived in Minnesota.

Price seems a little high. I paid $26,500 for my 2007 LT w/lt3 pgk and only 39,500 miles on it.

yup, you could have worked them a bit. I paid 16,000 but that was with 79,000 miles. They wanted 20,000

I think your price was right on track. I paid a little more but for an 07 Suburban 2500HD. Mine also had areas of frame rust where the undercoating had peeled off. I wire brushed it off and painted the areas with POR 15
