Brake pedal goes to the floor
Hey everybody,
I recently purchased a 2013 Suburban 2500 from an auction. When I took delivery of it, I saw there was no brake fluid in the reservoir and the pedal went right to the floor. Well I filled the reservoir with DOT3 and tried to bleed the system the old-fashioned way with my buddy pumping and me cracking the bleeder open. We were getting straight fluid (no air) out of the bleed ports in the rear, and the same for the front, but the pedal still went to the floor. We determined that the master was the issue so we went out and replaced it. And after doing the bench bleeding process and installing it we again bled the system but the pedal still goes to the floor! I'm not sure what the problem could be so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts!
Thanks,
B
