Default Broken Oil dipstick tube 2001 Suburban

My dipstick tube broke off on my suburban right where it goes into the block. I've tried to pull the part that is still in the block out with music wire with little hook on the bottom but appears to be seized in there. Is there any tricks that others have tried to get the broken tube out of the block. I'm trying not to drop the front transfer case and oil pan to get the broken tube out. Any help would be appreciated.

Heat the block with a torch, and screw an extractor into the tube.

if the extractor doesn't work you might want to try using a lifter puller if it will fit down the tube but still use heat. be patient and work it out slowly.

Ok tried the extractor wasn't able to get down into the block to get a good bite on the tube. Has anyone tried removing the headers on that side to get closer to the block to the extractor closer?
