Can't pass smog!! 2013 LT Suburban
I have a 2013 Suburban LT 1500 in California.
I'm trying to register my vehicle but I can't pass the smog check.
They keep telling me that it comes back with "NOT READY"
I went about 3 weeks ago and the shop told me that i might need to drive it couple hundred miles and come back.
This happens if the battery was disconnected and the vehicle needs some time to have enough data.
Well after 3 weeks, I drove over 500 miles and I figured we were good. I even checked the ODB2 reader and no codes.
Well, it didn't pass again. Well it said "NOT READY" again!
He told me that I would need to take it to a dealership but I'd rather not if possible.
I only have until the end of the month before the tags expire.
Any thoughts??

I had a bad MAP sensor on my '11. It did not set any codes but the fuel system monitor would not go to ''pass'' for inspection. I've got a high end scan tool also. After changing it my highway MPG went from 16 back to 19 MPG.
Also make sure no device is plugged into the OBD port so system can run it's tests.
