cat converter ?'s 99 tahoe
okay so i brought the truck into midas to check out the exhaust leak i had since purchasing, they told me both two gaskets from the y connects to the cats were bad, and i had a hole in one of the cats, and the back gasket is bad... i just purchased a flowmaster direct replacement cat converters with gaskets and all has anyone used flowmaster? any big difference? i went with flowmaster over the other stock replacements for a few extra bucks i like name brands i know from cars lol, but hope to hear some 2 cents
i actually paid less, say 300 dollars online new for the direct fit like OEM from flowmaster, i dunno any reports i tried, but in stores and autozone for Bosal is was 400-650 the shop wanted close to 1000 for everything including putting on, thats their price, i found bosal and flowmaster actually the same price almost online i paid and extra 20 bucks and free shipping for flowmaster cats... i figured flowmaster was a good name brand
now as it is, my exhaust leak came from every angle out my cat and y piping, ive been missing somuch power behind the wheel, i cant wait to get it fixed
my trucks a cruiser i dont beat on it at all
