Default Cheap wheels for a 2007 Tahoe

Hi all,

I've got a 2007 Tahoe 4WD, and I'd like to get a set of cheap (black steel is fine) wheels to mount snow tires on.

I've found some good deals on the older '02-'06 16" wheels, but I'm not sure if they're going to fit my '07.

I'm fairly confident that the bolt pattern is the same (6 on 5.5"), and I'd imagine the offset has got to be similar, but I don't think the Gen3 ever came with anything smaller than 17", so I'm worried that the brakes won't clear.

If 16inchers won't work, 17's are fine; anyone know where I can pick up some cheap plain (preferably narrow) wheels that will work?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Small update:

After looking for good snow tires in various sizes, I've decided that 16inchers really won't work for me anyway, so I'm sticking to 17's.

I found these 17"x17.5" black steel wheels for $63.64 each, and that seems like a good deal ($303 shipped), and then I think I'd go with a set of Bridgestone Blizzak DM-Z3's for $572 shipped.

So that's $875 plus mount/balance once everything arrives.

Can anyone suggest anything better/cheaper?

Regards,
