The new grille is chrome over ABS like most chrome on vehicles these days. Shold hold up better than chromed metal. Anyone stop by a dealer and price this thing yet? With the right VIN you could do a part number search.

Even if it's a little more than an aftermarket you could save by selling OEM grille.

Please let us know what your experience is with the vendor and whether the grill was easy enough to switch out yourself.
Thanks.

I will.. I should have just ordered it from gmpartsdirect.com they were $6 cheaper and I ordered from them in the past. As for gmaccessorystore.com the link I was given above and where I ordered it I can tell you they dont do that much business. Heck my order number was 719 so thats not too many orders that they processed. In any case I will post my experience.

Check out this thread. The factory part numbers and pricing can be found in this post...call any dealer or use gmpartsdirect with those part numbers.

and yes, this is the standard grille for all LTZ tahoes...I believe it became standard when they changed the LTZ package to include chrome mirrors.
I have been searching ebay since I took delivery of my LT3 in Feb..with no luck.
If anyone has one that they are looking to get rid of, please pm me.
