Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Default Dodge got its *** whooped by a Suburban!

My buddy and I got bored one day so we went out and had ourselves a good tug of war. Everyone around was placing money on the dodge but Chevy Runs Deep!

Just take a look.

Not difficult to do when there no weight in the rear of the Dodge. Try it with a full sized Durango, and I have a feeling you'll have different results.

Dodge sits higher, it's more balanced than you think.
Fact is, the Dodge 5.9 is just not as powerful as the 5.7 in the chevy. The difference is small, but it's there. Plus the chevy doesn't have to work as hard to get to its peak, where the dodge peak is much higher.

Not as balanced as you think...I've owned 3 of them, and still have one.

The Tahoe is heavier and has more weight on the rear axle.

Hell, I could out pull my Tahoe with my 89 F-250 Powerstroke all day, everyday.

If you want to impress me, show me vehicles of roughly equal size, HP and TQ numbers on a pull...

The video just doesn't impress me...two different vehicles, two different classes, plus other differing factors such as year, condition of driveline, etc.

Just my $0.02...take it or leave it.

I agree, we're talking Apples and Oranges (weight mainly).
Once the Dodge broke traction it was doomed.
If the Chive driver had just played it a little more patiently
and controlled his throttle, he could have pulled that Dodge
to China if he'd wanted to.

Not a vary fair comparison.

Yep, and that reduced level of available activities, is a major contributor to large families as well.

A true contest would be to see how they do hooked to a weight sled like at the county fair.
