Default drip under dash?

Sorry if this has been discussed. I searched and couldn't find anything.

So I'm driving the other day with flip flops on and water starts dripping on my toe. I feel the floor board later and it is wet. I also think it is dripping on the passenger side. I assume this is an ac condensation issue. Has anyone encountered this and know of a solution? I have an 07 Tahoe.

it's possible that your heater core is leaking. it is common for them to leak inside the car, as you have described.

If it's not antifreeze, then your evaporator drain may be clogged and the case is filling w/ water.

Thanks guys. I will check the evaporator drain.

Max- would the heating coil leak if not in use?

Yes. You should be able to tell the difference between condensate and coolant.

Colorless odorless water. Sounds like a condensation overflow. Thanks for your help!
