Drive by wire throttle/Radio

Drive by wire throttle/Radio
First Question:I own a 2004 tahoe 4.8 Litre 4x4 which has a drive by wire throttle.
Is there a relearn procedure for this model, make & year?
Second Question:I purchased this vehicle used so I don't have a antitheft radio password/security key for disarming/arming the radio preventing "LOC" out.I assumed I'd need one but now I'm confused because I had to replace my battery or I'd be stuck but noticed that the radio is still alarmed!
No "LOC" or anything appeared & the radio works the same as it did before I replaced the battery!Weird.
It is activated because you can see the flashing red light on the radio.
Is this make,model,year different?
Everyone else seems to get a locked out message if they don't enter the right security key to disable the radio.
Im glad Its not Locked but Id love to know why.
Id appreciate any help on the above questions.
Thank you.

The older radios had no way of checking the vin because it was just a wire going back to the battery. so whenever they lost power, they went into a theft mode.

First off,Thank-you for your reply (much appreciated).
Referencing My 1rst Question RE:Relearn Procedure for "Drive-By-Wire Throttle".
I am having minor Idling issues ,No codes; BUT I want to Clean my Throttle Body with "Deep Creep" by "Seafoam".I pulled the Air-Intake & noticed the Throotle Body is very Dirty.Apparently this Chemical is safe for the coatings on the Throttle Body.I think.
I read elsewhere that if you service this type of throttle such as:Cleaning
it you can throw the idle off & a "Relearn Procedure" would be neccessary.I am not aware if this is applicable to my Truck or not.I was just wondering because it seems any articles written about "Drive-By-Wire Throttle" associates a Relearn Procedure with it.
Here is an excerpt from one of those articles:
Most late model (typically after 2000) vehicles are equipped with electronic throttle (or Drive By Wire) module which eliminates the mechanical cable linkage between the accelerator pedal and the throttle body. The throttle valve or actuator module is controlled electronically by the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to improve the safety as well as engine performance. Whenever the throttle actuator is replaced, disconnected or the battery is disconnected for a certain period of time, this electronic throttle module will either need to be recalibrated or relearned in order to keep the idle speed at a specific range. This relearn function is typically done using the proprietary OE scan tools.
END OF EXCERPT (Pic is from excerpt Not my Ride)
Again I am having only minor idle issues & thought a good cleaning and tune-up would be wise but just to be safe & eliminate extra headache I want to clarify if is safe to go ahead & spray the "Throttle Body".
As for the 2nd Question:AntiTheft Radio.Your answer will suffice & is appreciated.

Throtle body cleaning as described by General Motors
Throttle Body Cleaning
No where does it talk about re-calibrating the throttle....you should be fine just cleaning it
Throttle Body Cleaning
-
Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement . Caution: Turn OFF the ignition before inserting fingers into the throttle bore. Unexpected movement of the throttle blade could cause personal injury.
Notice: Do not insert any tools into the throttle body bore in order to avoid damage to the throttle valve plate.

Inspect the throttle body bore and the throttle plate for deposits. You will need to open the throttle plate in order to inspect all surfaces. Notice: Do not use any solvent that contains Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK). This solvent may damage fuel system components.

Clean the throttle body bore and the throttle plate using a clean shop towel with GM Top Engine Cleaner, P/N 1052626 or AC-Delco Carburetor Tune-Up Conditioner, P/N X66-P, or an equivalent product. - Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
