Still learning about my new (to me) 2008 Suburban LTZ. Anyway, while sitting in the truck with nothing powered up I can hear the DVD/CD drive running. It sounds like it is seeking a disk. I have confirmed that there is nothing in the radio. So I cant figure out if this is normal or not. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have the Navigation system? if so it could be the nav disc spinning up

 

I do have navigation. I didn't realize it used a disk. Thanks for the reply.

 

you will also notice it will turn off after a minute or so if you are in there and do not turn it on.
