Default Is an engine oil cooler needed for towing?

My 1997 GMC K1500 Suburban came with HD Trans cooler, HD air cleaner, and Z82 Trailer provisions, SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, H.D.
I'm wondering why they would construct a vehicle, put some HD trailering provisions on it, then say that you need to add an engine oil cooler if you want to trailer something.
I'm looking to rent a U-Haul trailer, drive 55 miles an hour in 3rd gear predominantly, and wonder if I need to add an engine oil cooler?

Trailering is harder on transmissions. If you got that covered I don't see needing an engine oil cooler, too. Assuming your cooling system is well maintained and functioning properly, you shouldn't need it.

That's kinda what I thought. Especially since I'm not in a hurry. Thanks for the input
