I wonder if we can find out who the manf. is of the aftermarket piece we can contact them and inquire about making the second piece. Also, I wonder how the Escalade chrome pieces fit onto the mirror, and if you were to get the parts, could they be fitted to the existing mirror? Could they attach with adhesive as well? Doubtful. I like you guys am very particular about what I put on the vehicle. I am trying to bring her closer to the Escalade spec through OEM, however in the process don't want it to look cheap..

I doubt that getting the piece from GM is do-able. I doubt is is avalaible by itself and would be cost prohibitive. The best bet would be to get the whole mirror used from Caddy. Then re-sell your mirror to off set cost.

I know I've sen caddy mirrors (whole assem) on e-bay. I am happy with my set up for now. I plan painting alot of small pieces and the inner parts of mirror are on the list. Caddys have the extra chrome piece we are looking for but some is still painted.

Anyone know if there is window trim for the 07 tahoe, that goes straight across like the caddy trim... i seen ones on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHROM...spagenameZWD1V

but these split in the middle, its doesnt look like one long piece

you can get the factory esky molding a $200 a door, or buy those and look like crap....
