Default Factory XM antenna wire location

Have a 2003 Suburban
I’m installing a Sirius / XM receiver. To my factory Bose system. The truck has OnStar but not factory XM. I found a connector at the OnStar box that looks just like the XM antenna connector. I know sometimes GM will route wires for options that may get installed at the dealership, didn’t know if XM radio was one of them. If possible I’d like to use the factory roof mounted antenna.
I don’t use the OnStar nor do I ever plan to. Can I plug this connector into my Sirius receiver? I need to buy an extension for it to reach and would like to know if it will work before I spend the money on a cable that won’t work.

Thanks

Vic
