Question Front speakers issues

Hello, folks,
I am pretty newbie,

I got 2005 burb LS.
The front speakers are completely gone making the seat belt/door chime dead with the tweeters just giggling.

Before that, they were erratically working especially when I detached the instrumental cluster and pulled the cluster out.
But, now they completely don't work.

I am considering replacing the two speakers.
What do you think of the speaker replacement without considering the amp?
What kind/brand of speakers should I install?
So, my question is,

Is this issue related to the amp or just speakers?
I even can't figure out where the amp is located.
I wonder why the front two speakers have gone at the same time.
If the amp got a problem, how can the rear speakers be still good?

The rear door speakers are working well.
Thanks for any suggestion or experiences.
Sorry for any inconvenience because English is not my first language.

Default Speakers

Same as you the front speakers finally quit causing the door chimes to not work. Drove into a car stereo shop, the the guy said everythng is ok except you need two new speakers, the large ones. The fabric on mine was nearly completely missing. They mounted a new pair of Kenwood KFC1694PS. Sounds better than before and the door chimes work again. Pair of speakers about $80, installation about $70. Hope this helps. *BW*
