Default Front Suspension Question, '96 2-door Tahoe

When my front suspension unloads over a bump, I hear a metallic knock in the left side. It is very audible. Nothing appears to be broken, but two parts that I am not sure what to call them are touching. Just need to know if this is normal is something I should be worried about? See attached pictures, the part(s) in question are zoomed in on. It looks like the upper control arm maybe coming into contact with the subframe.

I don't think that is it, but you would see wear on the frame if there was constant contact between the two parts.

Most commonly, check the ball joints or the upper shock mount. The upper shock mount just rides on a bolt and is held still by being wedged in. If it is loose, it will click and clack on the bolt.
