Default Fuel issues

I recently had to have the fuel pump replaced in my 2008 Chevy Tahoe. Now my gas mileage is off. Is there a reset or should I just not rely on anything but my gas gauge from now on?

I'm thinking the sending unit is with the pump for the level gauge. They have to be a matched set, or at least old cars where.

Don't rely strictly on your miles to empty/mpg calculations on the DIC.

I did a test on my '08 Burb - wanted to see how accurate it was. Ran out of gas when the computer said 80 miles to empty. MPG calculations also gave me reason to believe I had about 4-5 gallons left.

Gas gauge was also showing about an eighth of a tank (I have a 39-gallon tank).
