Newbie here. Site is cool. I have the tank pulled down and am about to replace the pump. I have checked the relay and fuse and I know it's the pump. I digress. The replacement I bought at AutoZone is made by Master. I have never heard of them. I wanted to find a Walbro, but could not locally. Has anyone ever had an issue with a Master fuel pump? Any quick replies would be great.
Thanks, I plan on being a frequent visitor, and will add pics of my ride later.

Welcome,
It is an inexpensive AutoZone proprietary brand with a marginal reputation at best.
Does it require replacing the wire plug?

Yes it did. I have decided to go ahead and put it in last night, as I needed my truck for towing. Seems that it is working fine for now. The wiring harness info claimed the original GM harness was faulty, failed with heat. I replaced it with the supplied harness. I hate that the quality might be marginal. I hope it fails while under the one year warranty, if it is going to anyway. Maybe I will look around for a Walbro or a performance pump, and have it on hand for when I have time or if the Master fails.
This site looks awesome! I hope to help others and gain knowledge from all. thanks for the reply.
