well, i believe, that there is no problem to put older unit in to 2011 car. Only the thing, that u will not have futures as 2011 unit can offer.

Default Navigation update DVD

Hello folks,

This weekend I purchased a 2007 'Tahoe LTZ that I absolutely love. However, the Nav DVD is the original 2007. Who would I contact to request and update? is there a website? Also does anyone know the cost?

Thanks,

Cestep6

You can also order the disks for the DVD based navigation systems from your dealership. They would also be able to tell if a certain disk will work in a certain model year vehicle. I hope this information helps you all.

If it's truly the disc that came w/ the truck then you might be eligible for the two free upgrades.
