Thanks Biglg, I think your tahoe is sick. Have you done anything to the engine?? I'd like to get exhaust, but I've heard different things from different people. What do you think??

rrecker88, I put on a Volant CAI but removed it. I personally like it, the family said it was too loud under throttle. If I were the only passenger, no female or kids riding I would have left it on. As for the exhuast, same thing there. No exhaust, to much volume for a family vehicle. If it were only my vehicle, and I was the primary/only passenger most of the time I would have the AEM CAI and a magnaflow muffler on! With talking, radio, dvds, etc any extra sound is too much. At least for my liking.

I do have it programmed with the Superchips 2815, and I love it! I also just ordered the McGaugy's 2/3 kit today!

GmGeek,
I have seen that grille for a while, on ebay also. I like the concept. But the wide sold chrome surround is just to much, and too little mesh in the middle. Since there is already chrome surrounds from the factory grille shell it just doesnt look right. If they woudl make the edge/border a lot thinner they would have something to excite my interest!

rrecker,

I dont think the superchips does much for MPG. I do see an improvement in throttle response, definately changes the shifts and firms them up! The main reason I got it was to be able to program for the 24's! If I had to do it again, I would buy it again. I personally think it is the best mod available. I have had good luck with all superchips programmers I have had. They are a great mod! You can tell a difference in how the vehicle drives, shifts, and acclerates.
