Default Headlamps are not bright enough on my 2018 RST Tahoe

I just switched out of a 2014 Range Rover Sport to the RST Tahoe. The headlights on the Range Rover were perfect. Not so with the Tahoe. I've changed out from the factory 4300K HID to a HID 8000k and now not only are they still dim they are a blue dim. How can I get the crisp bright white lights that I used to have?

Welcome to the forum.

4300K is bright white. Higher goes to blue and purple while lower goes to a softer orange glow like an incandescent bulb.

Thank you. I've been digging deeper since my post and decided to order the 5000K white. I hope this color temperature helps. The other thing that I noticed about this Tahoe is that the headlights don't shine down the highway very far. That combined with the warm yellow 4300K that is OEM makes for challenging driving at night. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck. But if you're OEM lights are warm yellow than I seriously doubt they're 4300K.
