Hi guys! Please help me diagnose this problem for a friend. The problem started suddenly. I test drove it a few minutes ago. Fluid level is good, no leaks . It starts off fine and shifts to 2nd. When it wants 3rd, it tries to go but just seems to flop into neutral. I have reverse and can also shift from first to 2nd manually. However, same problem occurs with 3rd when trying to shift manually. Can this be a bad solenoid? Or does it mean failure inside the transmission since it DOES come out of 2nd? Thanks for any help you can offer! Poor people here lol
