Default help with my lemon's turn signals??

Hi guys I'm new to the forums and have been searching for answers, but haven't quite found what i'm looking for. My 95 suburban ls has no blinkers. My emergency flashers work fine, however it seems that my blinker flasher has problems. I hear no noise of the flasher, and see no lights on the dash indicating the turn signals. After really digging in I found that the three wires going to the blinker flasher were melted together. Where should I go from here? If anyone has pictures of the fuse/relay panels with the appropriate fuses in, it would be very helpful. I'm not sure If i'm missing anything in the relay panel near the break pedal. Thanks

your fuse block should have writing on it the one u want will say "sig" you should definately replace the section of wire (or at least tape them up) and trace the rest of the wires to make sure they arent melted either. if this still doesnt work, replace the signal relay, it should be in the fuse block under the dash (i think) a lot changed in the years from 94-96 so, im not too sure, but i can offer my advice
hope this helps

Welcome to the forum.

Also need to find why the wires were carrying so much current that it melted the insulation w/o blowing the fuse.

check for any after-market trailering add-ons or other lighting accessories that could be shorting out...
