Default Help removing factory stereo

I need some help removing my radio/cd changer from my 2003 Suburban. I've removed the fron panel and actually have the stereo in my hand but cannot get back to the harness to disconnect the darn thing! I can barely get my fingers behind the stereo...it's out as far as it can come. Are the cables too short? Could they be caught up on something? Do I have to go in through another area of the dash? Thinking it might help, I removed the AC controls/harness with no problem. Please help before I put my foot through this thing!

It sounds as though the wires or antenna cable is caught on something.
I have big hands and can easily remove the stereo head unit.

I would fish the radio back and forth (without holding tension on the wires) to try and dislodge them.

hey ,
why dont u remove the dash cover its not hard and u will have room to play in the back.screws on each end of dash side under panels 6-8 on front under bezel trim and remove ac vent to remove the passanger arm thing by push inward clips and pull arm piece out that is above the airbag.then lift n pull forward on dash cover to remove and this will give you alot of room to see whats goin on with your radio wires and so on. goodluck
