I have a 2001 Suburban and the horn no longer works. Any suggestions? Is it something I can fix easily or a 'dealer-only' issue.

may by the horn it self is bad but it sould not have gone this fast it also could be that you have a bad fuse.

 

Yes, my horn on my 2002 stopped working until my kids accidently set the alarm. All we heard was the relays clicking on and off and then all of a sudden the horn started working again. It appears that the relays are in a position where the contacts get dirty and stop working. Before this incident, I had to hit the horn on the steering wheel as I turned the wheel and eventually it would start working again. After the alarm incident the horn worked fantastic!
